【摘要】:ThisITU-TRecommendation|InternationalStandardspecifiesaprotocoltobeusedbyEndSystemsandIntermediateSystemsinordertoprovidesecurityservicesintheNetworklayer,whichisdefinedbyCCITTRec.X.213|ISO/IEC8348,andISO8648.TheprotocoldefinedinthisITU-TRecommendation|InternationalStandardiscalledtheNetworkLayerSecurityProtocol(NLSP).ThisITU-TRecommendation|InternationalStandardspecifies:1)SupportforthefollowingsecurityservicesdefinedinCCITTRec.X.800|ISO7498-2:a)peerentityauthentication;b)dataoriginauthentication;c)accesscontrol;d)connectionconfidentiality;e)connectionlessconfidentiality;f)trafficflowconfidentiality;g)connectionintegritywithoutrecovery(includingDataUnitIntegrity,inwhichindividualSDUsonaconnectionareintegrityprotected);h)connectionlessintegrity.2)ThefunctionalrequirementsforimplementationsthatclaimconformancetothisITU-TRecommen-dation|InternationalStandard.Theproceduresofthisprotocolaredefinedintermsof:a)requirementsonthecryptographictechniquesthatcanbeusedinaninstanceofthisprotocol;b)requirementsontheinformationcarriedinthesecurityassociationusedinaninstanceofcommunication.Althoughthedegreeofprotectionaffordedbysomesecuritymechanismsdependsontheuseofsomespecificcryptographictechniques,correctoperationofthisprotocolisnotdependentonthechoiceofanyparticularenciphermentordeciphermentalgorithm.Thisisalocalmatterforthecommunicatingsystems.Furthermore,neitherthechoicenortheimplementationofaspecificsecuritypolicyarewithinthescopeofthisITU-TRecommendation|InternationalStandard.Thechoiceofaspecificsecuritypolicy,andhencethedegreeofprotectionthatwillbeachieved,isleftasalocalmatteramongthesystemsthatareusingasingleinstanceofsecurecommunications.ThisITU-TRecommendation|InternationalStandarddoesnotrequirethatmultipleinstancesofsecurecommunicationsinvolvingasingleopensystemmustusethesamesecurityprotocol.AnnexDprovidesthePICSproformafortheNetworkLayerSecurityProtocolincompliancewiththerelevantguidancegiveninISO/IEC9646-2.
