【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforaseriesofcarbonsteel,alloysteel,castironandcopperalloyflanges,andalsoappropriateboltsandnuts,forusewithpipes,valvesandfittingscontainingsteam,oil,compressedairorwater.NOTE1Theuseofflangescomplyingwiththisstandardfortemperaturesbelow?17.8°C(0°F)shouldbeagreedbetweenpurchaserandmanufacturer.Theseflangesmayalsobeusedonpipes,valvesandfittingscarryingotherfluidsforwhichthesamerequirementsforsafetyandjointtightnessareappropriate.TheapplicabilityrelationshipbetweentemperatureandpressurefortheabovematerialsisspecifiedforeachtableofflangesinTable2andAnnexB.NOTE2Thetypesofgasket,andgasketmaterials,andthesurfacefinishofthejointingfacearemattersforagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthemanufacturer.Whenaraisedjointingfaceisspecifiedtheoutsidediameterofthegasketshouldextendatleasttotheoutsidediameteroftheraisedface.Forsteelflangeswhenaraisedjointingfaceisnotspecified,thegasketshouldbewithintheboltholes.
